These Terms govern your use of flowtherapy.com and the clinical services provided by Flow Therapy. By using the site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.
— 01Acceptance
By accessing flowtherapy.com, scheduling a consult, or beginning treatment, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
— 02What we do
Flow Therapy provides outpatient psychotherapy by licensed clinicians in eight states (CO, FL, ID, ME, NV, OH, TX, WA) — and three more in 2026 (CA, NY, GA). We see clients via secure video and in person in Houston.
We provide individual therapy, couples therapy, EMDR, grief groups, family therapy, and VA Nexus documentation. Services are described on the homepage.
— 03Not for emergencies
Flow Therapy is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. For veterans in crisis, call 988 then press 1, or text 838255.
Between sessions, we are typically not available for crisis response. Please make a safety plan with your clinician at intake if this is a concern.
— 04Eligibility
Clients must be 18 or older, or have a parent/legal guardian's written consent. You must be physically located in a state where your clinician is licensed at the time of every session. State licensure is checked at intake and verified before each session.
— 05Appointments and cancellations
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Couples sessions are 60 minutes. EMDR sessions vary by protocol.
Cancellation policy: Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full self-pay rate ($140), which insurance does not cover.
We reserve the right to charge for missed sessions, terminate care for repeated no-shows, and apply unpaid balances to your account.
— 06Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and most major insurance. Self-pay rates are published on the homepage.
If you use insurance, you are responsible for any copay, coinsurance, or deductible amount your plan does not cover. We verify your benefits before your first session and disclose your expected out-of-pocket cost.
— 07Telehealth
Telehealth sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant secure video platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have a private, secure location with stable internet during sessions.
We will verify your physical location at the start of each session because clinical licenses are state-specific. You may not record sessions without your clinician's express written consent.
— 08Termination
Either party may end treatment at any time. We may discharge clients for non-payment, repeated cancellations, threatening behavior toward staff, or when our scope of services is no longer appropriate for your needs. We will provide referrals when discharging for clinical reasons.
— 09Disclaimers
Therapy outcomes vary. We do not guarantee any specific result. The clinician-client relationship is the most important predictor of outcome — if it's not working, please talk with us so we can adjust or refer you elsewhere.
The information on flowtherapy.com is for general purposes and does not constitute medical or psychological advice. Reading the site does not create a clinician-client relationship.
— 10Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas, except where prohibited by your state's law.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
